plugging it into things

Every jack, what it is for, and the two or three that cause most cabling trouble.

the one thing

For a mono rig, always use the LEFT/MONO jack of a pair. Using the right one on its own gives you half your effects and a thin sound.

Your instrument, or the output of the pedal before it. Use both jacks for stereo.

Worth knowing
The RIGHT input doubles as a loop RETURN, which is how HX One does the four-cable method.

the mono rule

Outputs come in stereo pairs, and only the left jack of a pair carries a summed mono signal. One cable from the right jack gives you one side of a stereo image: quieter, thinner, and missing anything panned away from it.

HX One's right-hand input and output double as a loop return and send, which is how one pedal wraps an amp.

gridleak presets don't install on HX One yet. the amps are all in the catalog.
