why the names are strange
Line 6 cannot use another manufacturer's trademark to sell a model of their amp, so every model gets a new name. On a first scroll through the list, you cannot tell what anything is.
The names usually rhyme with, pun on, or describe the original. After a few, the pattern is clear.
one thing to know before you search
“Legacy” means carried over from an older Line 6 device for preset compatibility. Where two models look like the same effect, the non-Legacy one is the newer algorithm.
