What this box is for, what it is not, and the first thing to check.

It is a whole guitar rig in one box—amps, speakers, microphones and effects, all modeled. Whether it sounds right depends almost entirely on what you plug it into.
what it is
The HX Stomp's engine (the full Line 6 model library and eight block positions) with eight footswitches, four snapshots, and all of its jacks on one rear panel. It is the HX Stomp built for gigging, with a switch for each job.
check your modeler
If yours has three footswitches it is an HX Stomp, which has three snapshots and puts its jacks on three different faces. If it has no amp models at all it is an HX Effects.
