A-Wai Bass 200 preset

verified · 92/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Bass 200 is a 200-watt valve bass head from the small independent builder A-Wai. An EF86 pentode input (Active and Passive jacks, Gain High/Low and Bright switches) feeds a 12AU7 gain stage and cathode follower driving Treble, Bass, Lo Mid and Hi Mid controls with a Deep switch. A 12AX7 recovery stage runs an effects loop with FX Mix, then a 12AT7 long-tail phase inverter with dual Master drives four fixed-bias KT88s on a solid-state supply.

Schematic-derived preset files for the Neural DSP Quad Cortex and 16 Fractal and Line 6 modelers: Axe-Fx II/XL/XL+, Axe-Fx III, FM3, FM9, and the full Helix family (Floor, LT, Rack, HX Stomp, HX Stomp XL, Native).

Gridleak extracts amp parameters from original circuit schematics using AI vision — component values, gain staging, tone stack topology, tube types — then generates native preset files for every supported modeler. Every extraction is scored 0–100 and the score is published.
