A-Wai Evil Head - Lead preset

Verified · 93/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Evil Head is a two-channel, 20-watt valve head from small builder A-Wai, footswitched between Clean and Lead by a relay. The clean channel is a single 12AX7 stage into its own Treble, Bass, Mid and Volume. The lead channel cascades four more 12AX7 stages behind a Gain control and a cathode follower, with its own Treble, Bass, Mid, Fat and Volume. A Depth control, 12AX7 long-tail inverter and dual Master drive two fixed-bias 6V6s.
