The Aircastle 79A is a small single-ended instrument amp from around 1951. A 6SJ7 pentode preamp drives a single 6V6 for about 4 watts, with a 5Y3GT rectifier and a volume control only. It is a close relative of the Silvertone 1301-type amps of the era.
