The Airline 62-9021A is a small single-channel tube combo sold through Montgomery Ward's catalog in the early 1960s, manufactured by Valco. Valco's circuit designs gave many Airline amps an unexpectedly interesting tone despite their budget positioning, with the 6V6-powered output stage contributing warm, slightly compressed breakup. The 62-9021A is a classic example of American department-store amplification from the early rock and roll era.
