Airline 7214 preset
Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The 7214 is a small Valco-built Airline combo sold through Montgomery Ward. A single input feeds two cascaded 12AX7 stages with one 500K Volume between them (no tone control), then a cathode-biased single-ended 6V6 into an 8-inch speaker, with a 5Y3 rectifier and no negative feedback. That simple class-A setup breaks up early and sounds raw and compressed, typical of Valco's budget amps.
