The Alesis MicroVerb 4 is a compact digital reverb effects unit from Alesis, the Los Angeles-based company that revolutionized affordable digital effects with the original MicroVerb in 1987. The fourth generation of this budget digital reverb unit offered 16 reverb programs in a half-rack enclosure. Its ease of use and low cost made it a staple of home studios and live sound rigs throughout the 1990s.
