The Altec Lansing 1530A is a tube push-pull power amplifier for line-level program signals, built for professional installed sound. A high or low line input with a level control feeds two direct-coupled 12AY7 stages and a 6SN7 cathode-coupled phase inverter, driving two 6146 beam tetrodes on adjustable fixed bias with OA3/OC3 regulators. Two 5R4GY rectifiers power it, and the output is tapped from 4 ohms to a 70-volt line.
