The Ampeg AX-70 is a 70-watt guitar combo from the turn of the 1990s, solid-state apart from one 12AX7 in the overdrive path. Channel A has its own Gain, Presence, Ultra Mid and Volume with a pull Low Boost; Channel B has Gain B into the 12AX7, its own High, Low and Mid with a pull Bright switch, and Volume B. Both share an op-amp spring reverb, and a footswitch selects the channel ahead of a transistor output stage.
