Ampeg Jet J-12 (1961) preset
Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
This is the early version of the Ampeg Jet J-12, drawn in July 1961, with a pair of 6SL7 octal preamp tubes, two 6V6 output tubes and a 5Y3 rectifier. It is a simple one-channel combo with volume, tone and tremolo, and it differs from the later Jet built around 7591 output tubes and 12AX7 preamp tubes. Its octal preamp and 6V6 output give a warm, round clean tone that breaks up early at higher volume.
