The Ampeg Rocket R-12 is an early single-channel tube guitar combo. Three inputs feed half a 6SL7, followed by a volume and a single tone control; the other half of that 6SL7 is the tremolo oscillator, with speed, intensity and a footswitch. A second 6SL7 provides gain and phase inversion for a cathode-biased push-pull pair of 6V6s, with feedback from the speaker and a 5Y3 rectifier.
