The Ampeg SS-150 is a late-1980s solid-state guitar amp. Its power amplifier board, revised in 1988, uses a differential input pair and MJE15030/15031 drivers to feed two parallel pairs of MJ15022/MJ15023 output transistors on plus and minus 39-volt rails, with a thermal switch in the speaker line and patch jacks to break into the power amp input. The same power board was used in the VH-150 head.
