The Ampeg SVP-PRO is a rack-mount bass preamp with no power amp of its own. Its tube board runs four 12AX7s and a 12AU7 through gain, drive and master stages, with Bright, Ultra Low and Ultra High switches, bass, mid with a five-position frequency switch, and treble, followed by a nine-band graphic EQ. Rear panel adds an effects loop, tuner out, mute, and a balanced XLR out with pre/post selection.
