The SVT-100 is a 100-watt Ampeg tube bass head of the mid-1980s, built on the same chassis and circuit as the V-5; its factory specification gives 100 watts at 1.5% distortion and 129 watts at 5%. High and low (-6 dB) inputs feed a preamp of three 9-pin dual triodes with pre-volume, bass, midrange, treble, presence and master plus Ultra Hi and Ultra Low switches. Four octal output valves, 6550s, drive an impedance selector.
