The Ampeg SVT-140TC is a late-1980s stereo solid-state bass amp built around one preamp and two identical power amps. Two inputs feed an op-amp preamp with gain, Ultra Low and Ultra High switches and four-band active EQ (low, low-mid, high-mid and high), then a compressor/limiter and a bucket-brigade chorus with its own footswitch. Line out and line in jacks sit between preamp and power amps, each built on complementary MJ15001/MJ15002 outputs.
