The Ampeg SVT-8PRO is a hybrid bass head from 2005 with a tube preamp on three 9-pin dual triodes. A -12 dB pad and gain feed the tube stages, with an Ultra Low selector (sub cut, low cut and two Ultra Low voicings), Bright and Ultra High switches, bass and treble, and a mid control with a five-position frequency switch on a tapped inductor.
