Ampeg V4 / VT22 - Channel 1 preset
Close · 78/100 confidence. Most values readable. Minor gaps filled by inference from similar circuits.
The Ampeg V-4 was a 100-watt all-tube guitar head introduced around 1971, using four 6L6GC output tubes and a comprehensive preamp with tremolo and reverb — making it one of the most full-featured guitar amplifiers Ampeg ever produced. The VT-22 was the companion 2×12 combo version of the same circuit, integrating the V-4 head into an open-back cabinet. Both the V-4 and VT-22 are prized for their warm, thick tube tone and are particularly beloved by blues and classic rock guitarists who find them an alternative to Fender and Marshall offerings of the same era.
