Ampeg V-6B preset
Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The V-6B is a solid-state Ampeg bass amplifier from 1974, not a tube design. Two inputs feed a 4739 op-amp preamp with volume, bass, treble and a midrange control whose three-position switch picks 300 Hz, 800 Hz or 3 kHz on a tapped inductor, plus an Ultra Hi switch. A discrete power amp with eight 2N4348 output transistors on plus and minus 56.5-volt rails is specified for at least 240 watts RMS into a 4-ohm minimum load.
