Ampeg V-7 (MTI) - Channel 2 preset
Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The MTI-era V-7 is the bigger sibling of the V-3, using the same two-channel guitar preamp with four 6550 output valves. Channel 1 has pre volume, a Mid Shift switch on an inductor and post volume, with a soft/hard clipping option; channel 2 has a single volume. Both share bass, middle and treble, master and presence, and a 12AT7 drives the spring reverb. Relays switch channel and reverb from a footswitch, and a 12AX7 long-tail phase inverter drives the 6550s.
