Ampeg VL-502 / VL-1002 - Channel 1 preset
Verified · 86/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
This board serves Ampeg's early-1990s VL-502 (two power valves) and VL-1002 (four) guitar heads. Two footswitchable channels are switched by VTL5C1 photocells. Channel 1 has preamp volume, high, low, mid and master; channel 2 has preamp volume, gain, a five-position frequency select, high, low, mid and its own master. Each channel has its own reverb level, and six 9-pin dual triodes cover preamp, reverb and the effects loop, with presence and a power-attenuator connection.
