Ashton VP100 - Overdrive preset

Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The VP100 is a 100-watt tube guitar amp from Australian brand Ashton. High and low inputs feed 12AX7 stages, with relays switching between a normal channel and an overdrive channel that has two footswitchable gain settings and a JFET boost. Each channel has its own treble, bass and middle, driven from a 12AT7, and an op-amp spring reverb with level, an effects loop and a master follow. A 12AX7 long-tail phase inverter drives four EL34s with a 4/8/16-ohm load selector.
