The De Luxe 50 is a two-channel Austrian guitar amp with a push-pull pair of EL34s for about 50 watts. Each channel has two inputs, an ECC808 gain stage, passive treble and bass and its own volume, followed by a second ECC808 recovery stage. An ECC83 gain stage and split-load (cathodyne) phase inverter drive the EL34s, with a presence control on an inductor in the feedback loop and a vibrato from a three-transistor oscillator and lamp/LDR, with speed and intensity.
