The Burman Pro 501 is a British all-valve guitar preamp. A single input feeds cascaded triode stages with three separate gain controls (Gain I, II and III) and a high-frequency switch, plus treble, bass and middle controls and a presence network. A footswitchable reverb level feeds the reverb circuit, and a cathode-follower output drives the power amp and a direct-inject output.
