The CS100 BTC is a 100-watt Carlsbro valve head with three ECC83s and four EL34s. Each of its two channels has a pair of inputs, an ECC83 triode, a passive treble and bass network, a volume control and a second triode; channel 2 adds a Top Cut control. An ECC83 long-tail phase inverter with negative feedback drives the four fixed-bias EL34s at about 445 V from a silicon bridge rectifier, with 3.75, 7.5 and 15 ohm taps.
