The B1500 is a solid-state Carvin bass head rated at 1500 watts, with the B500 sharing the design on lower rails at 500 watts. A passive/active input feeds a discrete JFET drive stage, then a six-band tone section of treble, low mid, high mid, bass, mid and sub-bass, master volume, effects loop, mute and tuner out.
