The B800 is an 800-watt solid-state Carvin bass head, also used in a bi-amp combo. A passive/active input feeds a discrete JFET drive stage, then a six-band tone section of treble, low mid, high mid, bass, mid and sub-bass, master volume, effects loop, mute and tuner out, with a balanced pre/post DI. The main power amp uses MJE15032/15033-driven output banks, and the combo version adds a crossover and a separate high-frequency amp.
