The PB500 is a solid-state Carvin bass head built on the 1990 Pro Bass preamp board, shared with the PB200 and PB15. High and low inputs feed op-amp stages with a bright switch, volume, bass, treble and a mid control with sweepable frequency, plus a deep switch. A sustain control and a compressor with threshold, an effects loop, balanced output, headphone out and a bi-amp crossover with frequency and high level controls complete the preamp.
