The Carvin Vintage 22 is an all-tube, single-channel combo from Carvin's Vintage series of the mid-1990s. Three 12AX7s handle the preamp, the spring-reverb driver and recovery, and a long-tailed-pair phase inverter, feeding two EL84s in push-pull. Controls are Soak (gain), Volume and Master with a Bass/Mid/Treble tone stack and reverb, giving a chimey EL84 voice that breaks up early.
