The VTR2800 is a late-1970s Carvin hybrid guitar amp. Its solid-state preamp has Normal and Sustain channels switched by a CMOS gate, each with its own volume; Sustain adds sustain drive and a master. A spring reverb and a seven-band graphic EQ follow, with footswitching for channel and reverb. The MC2800 power amp uses a 12AT7 long-tail phase inverter driving four 6CA7/EL34s; the VT-112 version runs two output tubes.
