Cornford RK100 preset

Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The RK100 is Cornford's 100-watt Richie Kotzen signature head. A single input runs a high-gain triode first stage with a JFET-switched voicing change on a front-panel footswitch, then a dual-gang gain control over two further stages, a cathode follower and a treble, middle and bass stack. A series effects loop and master feed a long-tail inverter with presence, driving four EL34s (6L6 via bias switch), for warm cleans through thick lead.

Known for: Richie Kotzen, Guthrie Govan, Mark Tremonti.

Heard on: Wonderful Slippery Thing — Guthrie Govan (2006); All I Was — Tremonti (2012); Oblivion — The Winery Dogs (2015).
