The V33-212 is the 2x12 combo version of Crate's V33, built on the same amp board as the V33H head. Relays switch between a Clean path with its own volume and a cascaded Drive path with gain, sharing treble, middle and bass with a JFET mute. A 12AX7 long-tail inverter drives four cathode-biased EL84s with no negative feedback for about 33 watts, and op-amps run the spring reverb, giving EL84 valve tone at a budget price.
