Verified · 80/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Challenger Model 89 is a valve amp from Danelectro's Series D range, built by the New Jersey company alongside its budget guitars. A 12AX7 gain stage and cathode follower feed a 6SN7 phase inverter that drives a push-pull pair of 6L6GBs from a 5Y3GT rectifier into an 8-ohm speaker. A 6AU6 phase-shift oscillator supplies vibrato, and the preamp and controls sit on a separate panel wired to the chassis by plug.
