The UP35 is Davoli's 1040 power unit of 1967, a stand-alone valve power amp with no tone controls, driven from a separate Krundaal preamp through a nine-pin input socket. Two ECC82s provide the input, driver and phase-splitter stages, with feedback from the output transformer, feeding a push-pull pair of EL500 or EL504 TV line-output valves on adjustable fixed bias. A silicon bridge supplies the high voltage; the output has 4 to 32 ohm taps.
