The UP50/80 is Davoli's 1060 power unit, a stand-alone valve power amp with no tone controls, fed from a separate Krundaal preamp through a nine-pin socket. An ECC82 input stage and an ELL80 dual-pentode phase splitter drive a push-pull pair of EL504 or EL500 TV line-output valves on adjustable fixed bias, with feedback from the output transformer and a silicon bridge supply. The 1967 EL500 version is rated at 60 W.
