Dynaco Dynakit Mark IV preset

Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Dynakit Mark IV is a 40-watt mono valve power amplifier sold as a kit by Dynaco, with no preamp or tone controls; two were used for stereo. One 7199 does all the small-signal work: its pentode section is the voltage amplifier, direct-coupled to its triode section as a cathodyne phase splitter. That drives a pair of EL34s in ultralinear push-pull on adjustable fixed bias, with global feedback and a GZ34 rectifier.
