The Egnater Tweaker 40 power section was the output stage of the Tweaker 40 head, featuring a quartet of EL84 or 6V6 tubes selectable by the player and a tube blend control that mixed their tonal characters continuously. The power section's design philosophy followed the Rebel series — giving the player direct control over the fundamental character of the power amp stage rather than locking them into a single voicing. At 40 watts the power section provided generous headroom while still entering natural saturation at manageable stage volumes. It was a central part of what made the Tweaker 40 one of Egnater's most tonally versatile mid-power designs.
