The Echo Sonic is a compact Japanese valve combo from Elk with built-in spring reverb and tremolo. A 12AX7 input stage feeds Volume and Tone controls, a 6AQ8 drives the reverb tank, and a second 12AX7 recovers and mixes the reverb, which has its own level control and footswitch, and runs the tremolo oscillator with Speed and Intensity. A single 6BQ5 (EL84) runs single-ended and cathode-biased, with a 6CA4 valve rectifier.
