The Retro Tube 50 (E762 head / E765 combo) is a two-channel ENGL amp. Relays switch three ECC83 preamp stages between Channel 1 and Channel 2, each with its own gain, treble, bass, middle and volume, plus Bright, Gain and Tone switches. A JFET-switched effects loop with dry/wet balance and two footswitchable masters follow, and an ECC83 long-tailed-pair inverter drives four EL34s, with microcontroller footswitch logic.
