The EA-71 is a 1960s Epiphone tube bass amp driving a 16-ohm 15-inch speaker. Two inputs feed a 6EU7 stage with a passive bass network, then a volume control, a second 6EU7 triode and a treble control. A 6C4 gain stage and a 6EU7 phase inverter drive a push-pull pair of 6L6s on about 465 V with negative feedback. Power comes from a silicon diode rectifier with a filter choke, and there are power, polarity and standby switches.
