Epiphone EA-72 preset

Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The EA-72 is a 1960s Epiphone tube bass amp that shares the EA-71 circuit, driving a 16-ohm 15-inch speaker. Two inputs feed a 6EU7 stage with a passive bass network, then volume and treble controls, a 6C4 gain stage and a 6EU7 phase inverter. A push-pull pair of 6L6s runs on about 465 V from a silicon diode rectifier with a filter choke, and there are power, polarity and standby switches.
