The EA-7P is the 1960s companion amp for the Epiphone Professional guitar. Instead of front-panel knobs, its volume, tone, four-position tone selector, reverb level and tremolo depth and frequency sit on the guitar and connect through a multi-conductor cable into a single channel. A 6EU7 and 6C4 preamp feeds a 12AU7 phase splitter and a cathode-biased pair of 6BQ5 (EL84) tubes with feedback; 12AU7 and 6EU7 halves run the spring reverb and tremolo, with a 6CA4 rectifier.
