The Model 422 is a small 1966 Estey amp from the company's Magnatone period. Three inputs feed a 12DW7 preamp with volume and tone controls, and one half of a 7025 acts as a paraphase inverter. A single 6UH8 (ELL80) dual pentode works as a cathode-biased push-pull output stage into a 12-inch speaker, with an external speaker jack. The other 7025 half is a phase-shift tremolo with speed, intensity and a footswitch, and the rectifier is a pair of silicon diodes.
