The EVH 5150III 50W is the 2011 half-size version of the three-channel 5150III head. Clean and Crunch share a front end, EQ and volume, while the Lead channel has its own four-stage high-gain path, EQ and volume, with global presence and resonance. A pair of 6L6s gives 50 watts of the big head's tight, saturated voice at lower volume. Eddie Van Halen played every guitar part on "Tattoo" through one.
