The Tremolux 5E9-A is a late-1950s tweed combo that adds tremolo to a Deluxe-sized circuit. Two pairs of inputs feed a 12AY7, each half with its own volume, sharing one tone control. A 12AX7 gain stage and long-tail phase inverter with negative feedback drive a cathode-biased pair of 6V6GTs on a 5Y3GT rectifier. A second 12AX7 runs the tremolo oscillator, with speed and depth controls and a footswitch.
