Fender Bandmaster 6G7-A - Normal preset

Verified · 91/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The 6G7-A is a revised brownface Bandmaster piggyback head. Normal and Vibrato channels each have two inputs, bass, treble and volume, and share a presence control in the feedback loop. The Vibrato channel uses the brownface harmonic vibrato: a 12AX7 oscillator with speed, intensity and a pedal modulates split high and low bands that are recombined afterwards. A 7025 long-tail inverter drives a fixed-bias pair of 5881s from a silicon diode rectifier with a choke.
