Fender Bandmaster Reverb AA768 - Normal preset

Verified · 80/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The AA768 is the first Bandmaster Reverb head, from 1968. Normal and Vibrato channels each have two inputs, bass, treble, volume and a bright switch, and the Vibrato channel adds a middle control, 12AT7-driven spring reverb and optical vibrato with speed, intensity and a pedal. A 12AT7 long-tail inverter drives a pair of 6L6GCs from a GZ34 rectifier into a 4-ohm load, giving clear Fender clean tone with reverb and vibrato.
