Fender Bassman 6G6 - Normal preset
Verified · 92/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The 6G6 is the early-1960s brownface-era Bassman head, the first piggyback Bassman. Bass and Normal channels each have bass, treble and volume and share a presence control. Four 7025s feed a long-tail phase inverter and two 5881s on a GZ34 rectifier. Built for bass, it also became a favorite for warm, full clean-to-crunch guitar tones.
