Fender Bassman 6G6-B - Normal preset
Verified · 93/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The 6G6-B is an early-1960s revision of the piggyback Bassman head. Bass and Normal channels each have two inputs and their own bass, treble and volume controls, and a presence control sits in the feedback loop. Four 7025s handle the preamp and long-tail phase inverter, driving two fixed-bias 5881s from a silicon diode rectifier, for firm, clean tone that breaks up at volume.
